All The Kings Maille, makes jewelry the really old fashion way. Our design inspiration comes from chain maille, yes we are talking about the suits of armor made up of thousands of small interlocked metal rings, the same stuff medieval knights wore for protection during battle.
Small pieces of jewelry, like a pair of earrings, can take anywhere between thirty minutes to one hour to complete. Large pieces, like necklaces that may have over a thousand rings, can take days to finish.
All The Kings Maille makes their modern day chain maille bracelets, necklaces and earrings using the same techniques used centuries ago to make armor. The journey each piece takes to completion starts off the same, as a long piece of straight Sterling Silver, Titanium, Gold Filled or Solid Copper wire. The first thing that must be done is to turn the wire into small rings. To make those rings the wire is wrapped around a metal rod to create something that looks like a long spring. That spring is then cut down the side, which creates lots of little rings. After being tumble polished, the rings are now ready to be woven into jewelry. Using two pair of pliers each ring must be opened, put in place and then closed; repeat that step a couple hundred times and viola a little piece of history you can wear.

"Creating breath-taking pieces of Chain Maille Jewelry does not have to be a time consuming, overly laborious process any more.Chain
Maille “lite” is an innovative new technique that mixes “timeless” chain maille and modern wire wrapping. The designs in this book
use much less wire than traditional chain maille while saving hours of tedious weaving. Even though the following designs save tremendous
amounts of time, we have been very busy trying to keep Chain Maille “lite” in stock at our gallery
